Day Six: FRANKINCENSE

The smell of grounding essential oils can be a great way to deepen your yoga practice, meditation, or prayer.

Create a safe and comforting environment when you diffuse or inhale this empowering oil- a perfect opportunity to collect your thoughts. When you seek purpose or engage in prayer or meditation, diffuse this oil to enhance the experience.

In addition to elevated spiritual experiences, the benefits of Frankincense include maintaining radiant skin. It's ability to smooth the look of healthy skin makes this oil a key part of our Boswellia Wrinkle Cream which I use and LOVE. Add a drop to the carrier oil of your choose and see your skin glow.

Frankincense is also an important ingredient is Awaken, Brain Power,  Forgiveness and Highest Potential.

Distilled from the resin of trees, Frankincense Vitality oil contains the naturally occurring constituent alpha-pinene, which is what gives it its distinctive rich, balsamic scent.

Known for its unmistakably complex, sweet and woodsy flavor and aroma, the benefits of Frankincense Vitality go far beyond its taste and smell. It also supports well-being and normal cellular health when taken internally.

Frankincense is such a powerhouse of goodness. This is one of the oils that truly made me understand how oils can effect the brain. Make sure to check out the video below about Sesquiterpenes. They are the naturally occurring chemical compound in Frankincense, as well as many other oils and they are so powerful. To read more about this, click here.

We also use Frankincense in so many of our skincare recipes. Not only are they fantastic for our skin, but they are right next to our nose when we use them on our face and that's where we need them so that our limbic system of our brain can be reached. Can you say incredible? I love how God put all of this here for us to discover for our benefit! I seriously live for this stuff. I think it's fascinating!

Hope you enjoyed Day Six of diving into your Starter Kit. Next up....DIGIZE!
